The fishing village of Burnmouth lies just 1 mile distant, and Eyemouth, where visitors can feed wild seals, is 3½ miles and the St Abb's Head nature reserve's spectacular clifftop walks are only 7 miles away.
Historic Berwick-upon-Tweed (6 miles) offers good shops and restaurants as well as a wealth of places of interest to explore. From here, visitors can take a 45 minute train journey to the magnificent city of Edinburgh. Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island and Alnwick Castle and Gardens are also all easily accessible. Pub serving food ¼ mile, shop 3½ miles.
